Ottawa West Homeschool Game Club | 3-Session Pass (Two Siblings)

$75.00

Ottawa West Homeschool Board Game Club!

Join The Board Game Clubhouse for our Ottawa West Homeschool Board Game Club!

Our homeschool sessions bring kids together around the table to play some amazing modern board games, meet new people, and learn through play. Each session features a variety of games chosen and facilitated by BGCH, with fun always coming first.

Along the way, kids will naturally practise skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, decision-making, math, reading, and good sportsmanship.

This registration includes three bi-weekly, two-hour sessions at Toys on Fire in Kanata. BGCH provides all of the games, teaches everyone how to play, and helps keep the tables running, so no previous board game experience is needed.

Come meet some new people, discover some new games, and see what happens when learning and play share the same table!

Two Siblings | $75

This registration is for two siblings from the same family and includes three sessions of the Ottawa West Homeschool Board Game Club for each child.

Parent/Caregiver Participation

Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay, play, and be part of the fun, but participation is not required.

Children who are comfortable participating independently may attend the session while their parent or caregiver steps away. However, the BGCH Homeschool Board Game Club is a facilitated recreational program, not a childcare or daycare service. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for being reachable during the session and available to return if their child needs additional support or is unable to continue participating independently.

Cancellations & Missed Sessions

We know life with kids doesn't always go according to plan! If one or both children are unable to attend a session, just let us know whenever possible so we have an accurate idea of who will be joining us that day.

Your registration includes three BGCH homeschool sessions for each child, and we'll keep track of attendance for each sibling individually. If one child attends while the other is away, only the attending child's session will be used. The sibling who missed the session can simply use theirs at a future Ottawa West Homeschool Club date.

Each child's three-session pass is valid for 12 weeks from the date of their first session, giving your family plenty of flexibility if illness, appointments, vacations, or life get in the way.

If one sibling has used all three of their sessions while the other still has sessions remaining, they don't have to stay home! The sibling who has completed their pass is welcome to join the family for $10 per additional session until both children have completed their passes.

Because spaces in the program are limited, we do ask families to register with the intention of participating regularly. If your plans change and you're no longer able to take part, please reach out as soon as possible so we can work with you and, where possible, make the space available to another family.

Our goal isn't to make cancellations complicated. We just ask for good communication so we can keep the tables full and the games going! 🎲
